About

This blog is an extension of my website which can be found here. It’s used to post whatever interests me and to show art in a formal context.

a statement about my work:

I have always imagined a world in which I could have just one image containing every moment in my life; a collection and an accumulation of every memory in my head draping over one another to create a final illustration of the past. When I remember a significant occurrence, my mind acts as a shutter; opening while I take in the thought, closing when I move to the next one.

My photography is a process of re-creating atmospheres. It is an investigation of a moment’s duration and an awareness of its environment. It is the flattening of metaphysical time in order to create depth. My work involves building up scanned analog photographs and digital files to open up investigations of memory, totality, and the layering of time and experience.
